Sixth Pastoral Anniversary Celebration of Rev. Dr. J. Henry Buck, Jr.

The Sixth Pastoral Anniversary of Senior Pastor, Rev. Dr. J. Henry Buck, Jr., and his family concludes with today’s worship service and after worship festivities.

Rev. Dr. Drew Kyndall Ross, Senior Pastor of New Hope Baptist Church of Hackensack, NJ will return as the speaker for the Morning Worship Service. The United Voices of Grace (Dr. Sara C. Blanford and Ms. Marilyn P. George, co-directors), and the Expressions of Praise (Deacon Candace Matthews-Bass, artistic director), will minister in song and dance. Following the service, everyone is invited to gather in the James B. Murray Social Hall for refreshments, games and socializing with family, friends and guests.

The theme is Unconditional Service, based on 1 Peter 4:10-11: Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.
