Purpose: The Community Center serves over 2,000 individuals a year through a variety of its Christian, cultural, social, recreational and educational programs.  The Center also serves as a meeting place for organizations of the church and community.  Some of the activities sponsored by the Center are:

  • African American Historical Seminars
  • Bible Study
  • Computer Courses
  • Day Trips
  • Father’s Initiative Program (Need leader)
  • Food Distribution
  • CenterGAP After School Program/Homework Center

  • AARP Income Tax Filing
  • Tutorial Assistance
  • Nutrition Education
  • Parliamentarians
  • Recovery Group (Need Leader)
  • Referral Assistance

  • Senior Lunch Program
  • Summer Day Camp (Full Day’s Program)

The Food Bank is open Monday through Friday 10:00 am - 1:00 pm.  For more information on the Center and its on-going and proposed activities, as well as the use of the Center, call 215-848-2700.  Meets on 3rd Saturdays at 1:00 PM.
